Creative Marketing & Design at Seaway Mall

Currently, at Seaway Mall, I fully immerse myself in every stage of marketing and creative execution—from concept to delivery. As a full-stop marketer, I’ve worn every hat: researcher, planner, designer, promoter, and event executor. This experience has shaped me into a multidisciplinary creative with a passion for crafting cohesive brand experiences that resonate with both clients and the public.

Creative Design & Visual Identity

  • Digital graphics for Seaway Mall TVs

  • Digital graphics for outdoor signage

  • Print collateral such as posters, brochures, and mall directories

  • High-impact creative pieces like:

    • Branded ballot boxes

    • Custom barrel wraps

    • Immersive photo backdrops

    • Event-specific wayfinding signage

Whether it's a holiday promotion or a community campaign, I ensure that every piece of design is aligned with the mall’s brand while standing out visually.

Art Direction & Campaign Leadership

I provide art direction on numerous high-impact projects, including:

  • Seaway Mall’s 50th Anniversary Campaign (nearly here). I conceptualized everything from a nostalgic record selfie wall to radio ad creative, all designed to celebrate the community’s long-standing relationship with the mall.

  • A full identity for our ongoing annual food drive, now in its third year. I created the name, look, and feel from scratch, including all promotional assets. Since launching, it has:

    • Raised over $60,000

    • Collected more than 10,000 lbs of food and hygiene products for Welland’s food banks
This initiative has become a core part of Seaway Mall’s commitment to the community.

Experiential Design & Event Execution

I love creating moments that people remember. From concept to in-mall execution, I’ve brought exciting themed events to life, including:

  • Taylor Swift-themed event: Complete with a custom-designed sparkly photo backdrop and music-inspired touches.

  • Barbie-inspired activation: Featuring a glittering pink Jeep in Centre Court as a photo op, with cohesive branding pulled directly from mall tenants' merchandise to tie everything together.

These experiences were not just Instagrammable—they were built to highlight our tenants, drive foot traffic, and create genuine excitement.

Custom Assets & Brand Touchpoints

From gift cards and vouchers to custom-designed t-shirts for our 50th anniversary and company baseball outings, I’ve overseen the full process—from initial design to production. I even created companion print materials like postcards to accompany our branded merchandise, ensuring every campaign had a tactile, memorable component.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Community Engagement

Over the years, I’ve learned how to manage creative expectations and deliver results across a diverse range of stakeholders, including:

  • School boards and educators

  • Retail tenants and national brands

  • Local businesses and event partners

  • BIA’s and community groups

  • Non-profits and fundraising organizations

  • Public audiences, including families and large crowds at events
